Why are the Prices of RP Changing?
Riot Games explains that the changes reflect the fluctuating global economy. The new prices aim to balance the economic conditions. This action is also taken in an attempt to stop third-party exploitation where people use VPNs and server transfers to purchase currency at lower prices in one region and sell it for profit in another.
A lot of League of Legends players won’t be happy with the changes, but it’s a step Riot Games needs to take in order to balance their business in the global economy. Others note that the 76% increase in Ukrainian prices seems unfair and too drastic.
